UltimateMC offers software add-ons to the Windows Media Center framework that enhance the functionality to the ultimate level. We believe the power of WMC is not in its ability to do the ordinary: record live TV, stream Netflix, display pictures, and play DVDs etc. Instead we think WMC is a framework waiting desperately to leverage by third party developers to deliver mind blowing media enjoyment experiences.

MediaShift, our first WMC add-on addresses the need for Windows Media Center users to be able to seamlessly place shift their content to alternative locations. Consider a user that has a primary resident and a beach house. They should not have to duplicate all of their DVR programming, movie rips etc at both locations. MediaShift will make sure they can access the content they want regardless of their location.
